The committee is elected
at the Annual General Meeting of the group and serve for 12 months. The
committee and office bearers shall make and carry out decisions in
accordance with the objectives of the group.
The committee consists of
at least three Residential members, who have the
power to co-opt other Residential Members on to the committee, during
the course of the year. All committee
members have voting rights. The
committee as a minimum elects from their group a Chairperson, Secretary
and Treasurer and up to a maximum of a further 21 committee members.
Voting
members may be co-opted from residents to fill casual vacancies
throughout the year
Residential Members are
normally voted onto the committee at the AGM held in October of each year
but they can also be voted on at a Committee meeting when vacancies
exist.
If you are considering joining the committee or just want to come along
to hear what we have done through out the year, you will be most welcome
to come along to our
committee
meetings.
