Association Membership
Information last updated by HFRA Chairman on 29 April 2006 (Comment)

If you would like to keep in touch and contribute to what is happening in the Hall Forest Avenue and surrounding area, why not become a member of the Hall Forest Residents Association.

We have a number of different membership types available that cater for different needs.

Membership Types

Three different levels of membership are available whose eligibility is dependant upon the location of your home, your needs and your age.  These are:

Residential Membership

Residential Membership is open to all residents, irrespective of tenure of all dwelling houses located on or nearby Hall Forest Avenue in Kintore.  More specifically any house forming part of the following private housing developments between Forest Road and Castle Road:

  • Castle Fields (Bett Homes)

  • Deers Den (Stewart Milne)

  • Forest Park (Persimmon Homes)

  • Langan Meadows (Wimpy Homes)

  • Marnoch Rise (Stewart Milne)

Applicable areas are shown in orange area on the map insert (click on the map for a larger version).

Each permanent resident of a household within this area that is over the age of 18 years old is eligible to Residential Membership of the Residents Association.  To help with the running costs of the association, membership costs only £1 per annum for each member aged over 18 years old.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is open to all other residents over the age of 18 living within 5 miles of the centre of Kintore or have a vested interest in the running of the area.  To help with the running costs of the association, membership costs only £1 per annum for each member aged over 18 years old living within the Kintore area.  The membership fee for a member over the age of 18 years old living out with the Kintore area is £10 per annum so as to cover any additional postal costs.

Youth Membership

Youth membership will shortly be available and will be open to all youths living within a household within Kintore under the age of 18.  There is no membership cost for Youth Membership though Youth members will be limited to areas applicable to their age.
